The government's shut down, but the Political Junkie isn't

The continuing big political story is the partial shutdown of the federal government. Democrats continue to insist on a policy-free resolution to fund the government; Republicans continue to insist on getting concessions from Democrats on health care, selective funding for various departments or other issues.
