Update on Minn. man jailed in Abu Dhabi for YouTube video

Shezanne is the first foreigner arrested under tougher measures governing Internet use in the United Arab Emirates, according to the London-based Emirates Center for Human Rights.

Shezanne Cassim, a former University of Minnesota student from Woodbury, has been in a United Arab Emirates jail for eight months. He is accused of violating the country's cyber crimes law by uploading a satirical video to YouTube.

A scheduled court appearance to hear the charges Monday has been rescheduled. We'll get the latest on his situation.
