Ramsey County studying transit options along Rush Line corridor

Ramsey County recently approved more than $1 million to study transit options in the Rush Line corridor, a 25-mile stretch from St. Paul to Forest Lake.

From Finance & Commerce:

The new study will help refine options for either a bus rapid transit or light rail line in the corridor, a plan that's been under review for years. The bus line, estimated to cost $189 million, could extend all the way to Forest Lake, but the roughly $441 million light rail line would only go so far as White Bear Lake.

Ramsey County Commissioner Victoria Reinhart joins The Daily Circuit to talk about the potential for transit expansion in the east metro.
