Cuban pianist brings soulful orchestra to the Dakota

Nachito Herrera, a Cuban pianist who now lives in the Twin Cities, will be playing tonight and tomorrow night at the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis.

In addition to the quintet he usually plays with, Herrera has added a 14-piece orchestra for these shows. They will interpret a wide range of music including Bach, the Buena Vista Social Club, Barry White and Nat "King" Cole, as well as Herrera's original compositions.
