Today's music is in honor of the Martin Luther King, Junior holiday. It's a song that was one of Dr. King's favorite hymns.

In her autobiography, King's widow, Coretta Scott King, wrote that her husband would listen to the "Balm in Gilead" when he needed a lift.

This rendition is from the great singer and activist Paul Robeson.
