Dancing in the Chinese New Year

6 The program Homecoming: A Chinese New Year's Tale has been referred to as the Chinese version of the Nutcracker ballet. 
7 On this day, 51 young dancers performed on stage. This version of the program was designed specifically for audiences of school children. 
8 CAAM Chinese Dance Theater chooses show themes that reflect the artistic elements of Chinese culture. 
9 Dancers often put on shows for students from the area's Chinese immersion schools. 
10 CAAM Chinese Dance Theater presents locally produced Chinese dance performances and community outreach programs throughout the Upper Midwest. 
11 After the performance, dancers will head to school to attend the rest of the day's classes.
