Pitino has Gopher mens hoops pointed toward the big dance
The University of Minnesota Men's basketball team hosts Illinois at Williams Arena tomorrow night. The Gophers are 17-9 and have surprised a lot doubters who didn't expect much from this team. One of those people with low expectations was Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with him about the season so far, and whether the team could make next month's NCAA tournament.
