We played the "Blue Moon" track this morning, which Beck says is inspired by a biography of Elvis Presley that he'd been meaning to read for years.

Today's music is from the lead single from a new album by Beck. It's his first original album in six years and it's called "Morning Phase."  It comes out Tuesday, but you can hear the whole thing right now on the NPR's "First Listen" website.   Beck calls the album a "sequel" to his 2002 hit record, "Sea Change."   This track is called "Blue Moon."  Beck says it's inspired by a biography of Elvis Presley that he'd been meaning to read for years.
