By the time Meklit Hadero turned 24 and moved to San Francisco, she had lived in seven other cities.
A decade later, Meklit has found a home in the Bay Area. But Ethiopia, the country she was born in and left when she was a year-and-a-half, plays a big part in her life.
To call her jazzy-pop blend Ethiopian would be selling it short. Hadero has just released her second full-length album, "We Are Alive."
Hadero will be performing at the Cedar Cultural Center Thursday, March 27.
