Do you want to hear some banjo picking? It's a rhetorical question; of course you do. The Daily Circuit satisfies your desire today with the (semi) local banjo duo the Lowest Pair.
Fresh from opening several dates for Trampled by Turtles, the Lowest Pair stop by the studio to chat and play a few tunes off their debut record. Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee came together last year, and recorded 11 songs with the help of Turtles front man Dave Simonett.
Local audiences may remember Lee from his time with the Minneapolis bluegrass outfit The Boys 'n the Barrels, as well as other local bands.
The Lowest Pair are in the middle of a Midwest/Minnesota tour. You can catch them live Saturday, April 5, in Winona and Sunday, April 6, in Fargo. Then they head off to Montana for a couple of dates.
