Final week to give input on long-term vision for Twin Cities

The public has one more week to weigh in on a 10-year regional plan for the Twin Cities.

The Metropolitan Council's Thrive MSP 2040 document is a state-mandated long-range plan that looks at economic, transit and housing needs of the region.

Among the proposals is the council's first Housing Policy Plan update in nearly 30 years. Critics say if it's enacted, the policies will raise the cost of living and drive people to less-regulated regions.
