ACA won't make safety net care obsolete, clinic director says

Although the health care law increased insurance enrollment nationwide, safety net clinics are still an important part of the system, says Connie Blackwell, executive director of North Metro Pediatrics.

There are still people who are uninsured and need free or sliding-scale care, she said.
