Haim looking forward to playing at First Ave.
Today's music is from Haim who will be playing a sold out show tonight at First Avenue in Minneapolis. The group, fronted by three sisters from California, is getting a lot of attention as a hot new band to watch. This is their first trip to Minneapolis. Este Haim told the Star Tribune that they are excited to play First Avenue because that's where "Purple Rain" was filmed. She remembers watching the movie with her father when she was 10 or 11. He covered her eyes during the naughty parts.
