Minnesota official takes plan to end veteran homelessness to DC
Cathy ten Broeke, state director to prevent and end homelessness, is going to the White House this week to describe Minnesota's plan to end veteran homelessness.

As of a year ago, there were about 350 homeless veterans counted in the entire state of Minnesota, said Cathy ten Broeke, the state director to prevent and end homelessness. In the last five years, the number of homeless veterans in Hennepin and Ramsey counties has dropped by half to fewer than 200.
"So it is a very manageable number of veterans," ten Broeke said. "We can see the end of homelessness for veterans in our community."
She joins The Daily Circuit to preview her trip to Washington, D.C.
