Today's Morning Edition music comes from the Minneapolis-based band Strange Names. They will be playing tonight at The Red Herring Lounge in Duluth.

The Red Herring is a new space for music that opened this week. The owner is calling it "Duluth's newest and artsiest music venue." It's located across the alley from the NorShor Theater in an old building that was once home to the Lake Superior Fish Company. There are several bands playing there this weekend to celebrate the club's opening.
