MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with University of Minnesota Climatologist Mark Seeley about drenching rains in parts of Minnesota in the first half of June. He also recalls a dangerous storm on this date in 1991, when lightning killed a spectator at the U.S. Open golf tournament which was played in Minnesota that year. Seeley also has a stormy forecast for the Twin Cities this Father's Day weekend.
