Minnehaha Creek out of its banks in some areas due to heavy rain
People in the Twin Cities woke up to thunder and torrential rain--and flash flooding June 19, 2014. It created dangerous driving conditions in some places. This street along W. 50th St. near Edina City Hall experienced flash floods.

Telly Mamayek, communications director for the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, said the creek was out of its bank in a number of areas in the Twin Cities.
