Floodwater from recent rains continues to cause problems across the state this morning.

So far, 2014 is turning out to be the wettest year on record. But Minnesota has seen its fair share of flooding in recent years as well.

In fact, the Minnesota Climate Office cites four separate 1 in 1,000-year flood events in the last decade.

All this water makes one wonder what cities and towns are doing to prepare for heavy rainfall in the future.
