When millionaires make policy for the poor

More than half of the members of Congress are millionaires. Nearly 200 are multimillionaires.

A few came from poverty, but they have not experienced the realities of financial distress in decades.

Writes Politico: "Time in Washington is disproportionately spent fixated on the needs and desires of America's wealthiest citizens."
