Jayhawks re-issued albums to be released Tuesday
Monday's Morning Edition music puts the focus on Tuesday, when fans of the Jayhawks will be able to get their hands on re-issued versions of three of the band's albums.
Those albums are "Sound of Lies," "Rainy Day" and "Smile." The new versions are expected to include bonus tracks, new liner notes and updated mastering.
One of the songs on the album "Smile" caught our attention, given that we're welcoming Morning Edition listeners to their day.
In addition to the re-issued albums coming out tomorrow, the Jayhawks are going on tour, starting in Helsinki, Finland next week.
Their first concert dates in Minneapolis, the town where it all started for them, are on September 5 and 6, when they play at First Avenue.
