The state patrol says alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

On Friday, Norman Scott, 78, and his wife Geneva Scott, 79, of Cannon Falls, were killed when they pulled out in front of a state trooper responding to an accident.

Scott Reps, the trooper driving the squad car, was injured in the crash. Reps, 48, was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Reps was still in the hospital Sunday morning. The state patrol did not have an update on his injuries or condition.
