Fire officials in Isanti County say at least two oxygen tanks exploded inside a Cambridge home, creating an inferno that could have killed the home's occupant if not for one man's quick actions.
A WCCO-TV report (http://cbsloc.al/1jn8IVS ) says fire crews were called to the blaze Saturday just before 9 a.m. They arrived to find the trailer home engulfed in flames.
The sole occupant had already been pulled out by a man identified as Tom Simon.
Corey Bustrom of the Cambridge Fire Department says fire officials, as well as the city, consider Tom a hero.
The person Simon saved was taken to a hospital. That person's condition wasn't immediately known.
Fire officials say the oxygen tanks caught fire and exploded through the roof and walls like missiles.
