Minneapolis schools put new focus on black male achievement

Minneapolis Public Schools named a director to the new Office of Black Male Student Achievement this week.

Michael Walker, a long-time administrator at Roosevelt High School, will start in the position later this month.

The CEO of Minneapolis Schools, Michael Goar, joins The Daily Circuit to discuss why the office was created and what it will do.
