St. Paul police: Woman found in vehicle dies
St. Paul police are investigating leads in what they say is a suspicious death of a 22-year-old woman found unresponsive in a vehicle.
A police spokesman tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press an officer saw the vehicle late Saturday night on a sidewalk near an intersection. The officer found the woman in the front seat. Paramedics treated her at the scene before she was transported to Regions Hospital, where she died Sunday afternoon.
The spokesman says investigators believe they know who the woman is and how she died. He says they won't release that information until it's confirmed by the Ramsey County medical examiner.
He says investigators are interviewing witnesses.
