Regulators: Some products sold by Best Buy recalled

Consumers are being warned to stop using items that were sold through Best Buy's stores and websites after the products had been subject to safety recalls and could shock users.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Best Buy say the problem involves 10 different products that were recalled in 2012 and 2013. In all, about 200 items were sold, including TVs, dishwashers, dehumidifiers, and stoves that could catch fire and speakers that could deliver electric shocks.

Also, an undetermined number of recalled Canon cameras were sold.

Consumers should stop using recalled products and contact manufacturers for a refund, replacement or repair.

"While the number of items accidentally sold was small, even one is too many and we are taking steps to help prevent such issues from reoccurring," a Best Buy spokesman said.
