Weekend road woes: Closures on parts of Crosstown, 35E, 35W
Stretches of some major Twin Cities roads will close this weekend, creating more than a few driving hassles.
Here's a list of the potentially biggest problems. Visit the Minnesota Department of Transportation weekend traffic site for the complete list.
Also, watch out for heavy traffic Saturday in Minneapolis where soccer fans will pack TCF Bank Stadium for a match at 2 p.m. and Paul McCartney fans will fill Target Field for an evening concert.

• Hwy 61 between White Bear Avenue and north of Hwy 96 in White Bear Lake is reduced to a single lane.
• Hwy 62 at Hwy 169 will close in both directions from 10 p.m. Aug. 1 to 5 a.m. Aug. 4.
• Southbound Interstate 35E between Hwy 36 and Interstate 94; the ramp from westbound I-94 to northbound I-35E is closed.
• Eastbound Interstate 494 on the Wakota Bridge between Hardman Avenue in South St. Paul and Maxwell Avenue in Newport reduced by two lanes.
