McFadden says leadership and ideas will beat Franken

Republican business executive Mike McFadden is headed to St. Cloud today for a campaign event with the local chamber of commerce.
He beat out state Rep. Jim Abeler and Iraq War veteran David Carlson in the GOP senate primary yesterday. The first-time candidate is challenging Democrat Al Franken, a well funded incumbent, in the general election race.
