After Kelly Phillips' murder, reward offered in search for suspect

A fund has been established to encourage tips on the location of the suspect in the shooting death of a Boston Scientific executive last week. Kelly Phillips was gunned down Aug. 11 outside an Arden Hills gas station.

The Kelly Phillips Reward Fund, which offers up to $10,000 for information on Lyle "Ty" Hoffman, is set up through the Council on Crime and Justice website.

Hoffman, 44, established a Minneapolis business with Phillips. He has been charged with second-degree murder in Ramsey County. Law enforcement officials have been searching him since the shooting. A warrant was issued for his arrest Friday.

Witnesses say Phillips was shot three times after having an argument with the suspect in a vehicle in the gas station parking lot.
