The gates at the Minnesota State Fair opened this morning, as they will for the next 12 days, ending on Labor Day. There's some historic changes at the Fair this year. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Minnesota Public Radio reporter Tim Nelson who was at the Fair when the gates opened.
