St. Paul Mayor Coleman calls for race relations meeting

St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman planned to meet Monday with community representatives and the St. Paul Police department to discuss race relations.

The meeting comes after the release of a video of two officers using a Taser on Christopher Lollie in the downtown Skyway system.

A representative of the mayor's office would not disclose the time or location of the meeting, but said a statement will be released afterwards.

The video shot by Lollie during his arrest in January has recieved nationwide attention. Lollie who is black has accused the officers, who are white, of racism. The officers said Lollie was trespassing, but charges were dropped in July.
