A truck carrying turkeys overturned in Maple Grove early Tuesday morning, blocking traffic at the interchange between northbound Interstate 494 and eastbound I-94.

Authorities said the semi tipped over on the ramp between the two freeways shortly about 4:30 a.m. The trailer loaded with turkey cages remains beside the road as trucks and heavy equipment have moved in to clean up from the crash.

No one was injured in the crash, although it wasn't clear if any of the turkeys were killed or injured in the incident.
