Man stabbed, killed overnight in Minneapolis

A stabbing in southeast Minneapolis has left a man dead.

Police said an adult male was walking just before 10 p.m. in the 2400 block of Ogema Place, between the Little Earth neighborhood and Hiawatha Avenue, when the incident occurred.

Police say it appears he got into an argument with someone else that escalated into a fight and one of the men took out a knife and stabbed the other.

The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Cener where he died in surgery. Police say they're looking for a suspect and ask anyone who knows about the incident to contact authorities.
