Minn. students join national march to demand climate change action

Over 300 people from Minnesota are currently on a 20-hour journey to New York to participate in the People's Climate March on Sunday. Organizers expect it to be the biggest climate mobilization ever.

Among those activists are 12 high school students who are part of a leadership group started by Gustavus Adolphus College senior Nicole Ektnitphong.

Nicole and high school student Christopher Mayorga joined MPR News' Tom Crann to talk about the experience.
