Minnesota Orchestra interim CEO on organization's future
Kevin Smith took the helm of the Minnesota Orchestra this month, replacing President and CEO Michael Henson. Henson was a source of contention throughout the 16-month musician lockout.
Smith, who led the Minnesota Opera for 25 years before retiring in 2011, will serve in his new role until a permanent replacement for Henson is found. He is charged with rebuilding an orchestra still stinging from the labor dispute.
Smith joins The Daily Circuit to discuss his vision.
