Fargo police and firefighters unsuccessfully searched a Fargo neighborhood near NDSU and the Red River Monday.

At a 1 p.m. news conference, Fargo Police Chief Keith Ternes said new information led authorities to move the search to Moorhead this morning, where police found a body that matched the description of Bearson.

A statement from Moorhead Police Lt. Tory Jacobson said the body was "discovered in the South Moorhead old Industrial Park shortly before noon."

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will investigate the cause of death.
