3 injured in early morning shooting at Minneapolis gas station

Three people were injured at a shooting at a south Minneapolis gas station early Tuesday morning.

Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson John Elder said the shooting took place at the Moto Mart gas station on the 3300 block of Hiawatha Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. He said it appears that the occupants of two vehicles were shooting at one one another. One of the victims was critically injured.

All three victims were brought to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. Police are investigating.
