Today's Morning Edition music is from Paul Simon, who performed a version of The Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun" on Conan O'Brien's late night talk show Wednesday.

Conan is featuring a series of artists this week who are interpreting songs written by the late George Harrison. The performances mark the release of a new eight-disc box set titled "The Apple Years 1968-75," which compiles Harrison's first six solo albums and more.

In addition to Simon, Beck and Harrison's son, Dhani, have performed on Conan this week. The special series concludes Thursday night with a performance by Norah Jones.

In the clip below, Simon talks about Harrison.
