The Splendid Table launched in 1994, a year when baked brie was in and iceberg lettuce was still hot.

Since Lynne Rosetto Kasper and her team have been doing the public radio food show, chia seeds, cupcakes, comfort food and Caramel Macchiatos have come and gone, or arrived and "stuck."

"My mother lived in great fear that I was going to be a waitress all my life," she told USA Today.

Instead, she's covered and conversed about the food that waitresses serve and the food we whip up in our own kitchens.

Kasper joined The Daily Circuit to look back at her years on The Splendid Table.
