The only face-to-face debate of the candidates for Congress in the 8th district was held October 7, 2014 at the Duluth Playhouse. Incumbent DFL Congressman Rick Nolan faced Stewart Mills of the GOP and Green Party candidate Ray "Skip" Sandman. Moderated by Roger Wedin of the Duluth Chamber and Chuck Frederick of the Duluth News Tribune.
