A look at this year's pheasant hunting season

Minnesota's pheasant hunting season opens Saturday despite a long-term population decline in recent years.

The drop is largely due to threats to their habitat. Gov. Mark Dayton, a pheasant hunter himself, said he plans to hold a pheasant summit later this year.

Nicole Davros of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources joins The Daily Circuit to preview the season, which runs through Jan. 4.
