Minnesota predatory offender captured in Montana

A "predatory offender" wanted in Minnesota has been captured in Montana.

Authorities had been pursing Todd Neil Triebold since June when they warned that he might be armed, dangerous, potentially suicidal and traveling to the Boundary Waters wilderness. He was considered "non compliant" with the requirements of the Minnesota Predatory Offender registry.

He was arrested Thursday in Sanders Coounty in northwest Montana, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Friday. A person who saw information about Triebold on the BCA Facebook turned him into local law enforcement, the BCA said.
