Four stabbed in late night St. Paul dispute

At least four people were stabbed following a fight between a couple in St. Paul on Monday night.

The stabbings occurred shortly before midnight on the 400 block of Fry Street, according to St. Paul police Sgt. Paul Paulos. He said the fight between a man and woman began in an apartment building where a party was being held. The fight moved into a hallway, where four other partygoers intervened, and then moved outside.

Paulos said four people, including the woman, were transported to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One person was treated by paramedics and released at the scene.

The man who initiated the fight was arrested and is in custody at the Ramsey County Jail. Police are investigating the incident.
