Minnesota film fans will have their eyes fixed on St. Louis Park for the next week as the 5th Twin Cities Film Fest gets underway.

The 10-day event opens Thursday at the Showplace Icon Theatres, running through Oct. 25. The festival features several local premieres of the season's big films, including the adaptation of Cheryl Strayed's book "Wild" and the new Jason Reitman film "Men, Women & Children."

There is also a strong representation of Minnesota film talent. MPR News reporter Euan Kerr talked with Twin Cities Film Fest Founder and Executive Director Jatin Setia about this year's festival.
