Washington NFL team name one of many issues facing American Indians

The controversy surrounding the name of the Washington football team, "Redskins," will come to Minnesota this weekend when the Vikings play Washington at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

While opponents of the name are vocal and many, there are still people who think the name should remain in place.

This is one of many struggles that the Native American community has faced and continues to face both here in Minnesota and across the country.
