I-94 in west central Minn. reopened after semitrailer accident

Traffic came to a standstill on westbound Interstate 94 in west central Minnesota Friday morning after semitrailer overturned at around 4 a.m. near Rothsay.

The State Patrol said the accident blocked traffic for hours. There was at least one injury.

By late morning, both lanes of westbound I-94 had been reopened, the State Patrol said.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation on Friday morning was also reporting an overturned semi blocking the left lane of Interstate 35 near Clarks Grove, Minnesota, between Owatonna and Albert Lea.
