The massive snow storm in upstate New York is delaying preparations for Lake Phalen's annual holiday light display.

Holiday Lights in the Park, sponsored by the St. Paul Police Foundation, attracts about 80,00 people each year.

Even though the lights are delayed, executive director Kate Kelly says the display will be up on Nov. 25 as scheduled.

The trucks carrying the lights were stuck on the interstate and will arrive two days later than scheduled.

Kelly says anyone wishing to volunteer to help with the set up should show up at Lake Phalen after 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
