Sounds of Blackness preview holiday show
This year marks the 36th anniversary of the Sounds of Blackness Christmas program. "The Night Before Christmas - A Musical Fantasy" is Dec. 22 at the Guthrie Theater.
Closing out a week of holiday music, Sounds of Blackness music director Gary Hines and members of the group join The Daily Circuit to perform a few songs from their Christmas program as well as a few non-seasonal hits.
The group, founded at Macalester College in 1969, travels worldwide and has won multiple Grammy awards.
