Bridge work closing I-94 west in St. Paul this weekend; expect delays
Westbound Interstate 94 between Highway 61 and Interstate 35E will close at 10 p.m. tonight for the weekend so Minnesota Department of Transportation crews can work on the Highway 52 Lafayette Bridge project.
The bridge will remain open but there will be no access from northbound Highway 52 to westbound I-94. The road is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday for the morning rush hour.
Drivers should bypass the closure using westbound Interstate 694 to southbound I-35E, or southbound Highway 61 to westbound I-494, MnDOT said.
