2 dead in northern Minnesota mobile home fire
Two people are dead after a trailer home fire near Deer River, Minnesota.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a house fire in rural Deer River around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
When sheriff's deputies and the fire department arrived, they found a trailer home fully engulfed in flames. Responders found the body of a man and woman inside.
A woman and two teenage girls escaped with minor injuries.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of death.
The fire is under investigation by the sheriff's office and the State Fire Marshal's Office.
