Injury ends Banham's season for Gopher women

The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers women's basketball team received some bad news Thursday.

Star guard Rachel Banham has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. Banham suffered the injury Wednesday night during a game against North Dakota.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for The Star Tribune, about the impact of the injury on the team's season.
